Posted on: February 3, 2011

We would like to invite all of the interior design students to join Professor Stephanie Sipp at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 1:30 – 2:30 to view the exhibit The Art of Seating: 200 years of American Design. This exhibit is featuring chairs from  “1800s to the present by designers and manufactures including John Henry Belter; George Hunzinger; the Herter Brothers; the Stickley Brothers; Frank Lloyd Wright; Charles and Ray Eames; Isamu Noguchi; Frank Gehry; Knoll; Herman Miller; Steelcase and others.”

Students are free during this time if you bring your student ID. If you cannot make it on this date the exhibit is open until April 3, 2011. I encourage all students to attend as it is exposure to beautiful historical and current designs and a great learning opportunity! If you have any questions please contact Prof. Stephanie or Prof. Tessa.
