Posted on: January 14, 2011

COME TO TALLAHASSEE AND SUPPORT INTERIOR DESIGNER’S RIGHT TO PRACTICE

Rally in Tally: Feb. 23rd

Your help and participation are needed!  Mark your calendars and plan to join us at our State Capitol on February 23rd where we will meet with our representatives to make sure they understand the importance of interior design legislation!

Last year wwere very successful and made a huge impression on our government officials.  We would like to give a special THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time and made the trip over to Tallahassee to help out with this effort and we ask that you make time again this year to be there for this very important day.

More details on this important event will follow but in the meantime –

If you are in the Jacksonville area on Jan. 20th, please plan to attend the

Jacksonville Design Community Meeting – 5:30 p.m.
Jaffe Rug Gallery – 8206 Philips Highway – Suite 18 – Jacksonville

for an informal and fun evening where you will learn how to introduce yourself and give a 30 second “elevator speech” to our government officials.  Janice Young, FASID, Suzanne Suttles, ASID IDAF Rep to the board and Marsha Faulkner, ASID, President Elect will be there to provide you with everything you need to know to help make this year’s Rally in Tally a huge success.  We promise it will be an enjoyable and informative evening (and food and beverages will be served).  Even if you cannot make it to the event in February please come to the meeting/training on Jan. 20th.  You can also help right from your desk by emailing and writing letters or making calls to your representatives.  We will be discussing how you can help that way too!

Florida North ASID has THE BEST members and we can always count on you!!
