St. Augustine – Living Design History

Posted on: October 13, 2010

If you are jacksonville resident then you are lucky enough to have one of the oldest settlements in your back yard, St. Augustine, Florida. St. Augustine is one of those places that if you live close you visit all the time and never tire of it. It has beautiful beaches, the Castillo de San Marcos fort, historic St. George street and all of the beautiful historic homes. On Saturday, November 13th Prof. Tessa is organizing a day trip to visit St. Augustine and view some of its historic architectural sites. We would like to encourage all of our interior design students to attend this event as it will help to build your design foundation and you gain first hand experience. It will also help to reinforce all of the vocabulary words if you are in History II. 🙂 We are still finalizing the itinerary for all of the activities but it is set in stone that we will be attending the tour of Flagler College at 9:00 am. If you would like more information or RSVP then please contact Prof. Tessa.
